In Skemy, devices, ports and connections live in one project. System Schematic, I/O Mapping, Cable Schedule, Rack Layout, Device Layout and Commissioning are different ways of reading and editing it, not separate documents to keep in sync.
A connection created in the schematic is the same row in the cable schedule and the same occupied port on the switch front panel; installation status recorded in the schedule feeds the commissioning summary. Each view shows what it is responsible for: a device’s position on the floor plan, for example, is separate from its place in the schematic.
Other project views
Equipment Schedule lists the project’s equipment with search, filters and selectable columns. Electrical Panel Layout arranges devices on DIN rails in electrical panels. Project Overview summarises devices, cables, floor plans, rack assignments and project integrity. The device library is the starting point for adding equipment and customising its ports and data.
