About Skemy.

Skemy is software for designing and documenting audio-video, network and integrated systems. It brings the connection schematic, cable schedule, rack layout, floor plans, switch port mapping and commissioning together in one project.

Who it is for

Skemy is built for system designers, installers and integrators who need to describe how a system works, where its devices are and how they are connected, and then follow the installation through to handover. The demo project on this site, a conference room with a control room and foyer, shows a typical case.

What you do with Skemy

You start from the device library and build the schematic by connecting ports. From there the project reads as a cable schedule, switch front panels with VLANs and PoE, rack elevations, floor plans with cable routes, electrical panels and a commissioning summary. Drawings print or export to PDF with a title block; DXF, CSV and Excel exports are also available.

One project model

Skemy’s views work on the same devices and connections: a change made in one view is visible in the others that show that data, with no separate files to reconcile. Each view stays responsible for its own aspect: a device’s position on the floor plan, for example, is separate from its place in the schematic.

Web and desktop

Skemy runs in the browser, including on tablets, at app.skemy.eu; projects can be saved to the cloud and shared with a team through organisations. A preview of the desktop application for macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon) and Windows x64 is available as a Release Candidate on the Download page. The Skemy interface is currently in Italian.
