Electrical Panel Layout places the project’s devices on the DIN rails of your panels: choose the rows and modules per row, place the devices and check the result in the schema and the CAD view.
A panel defined by its parameters
Create a panel with a name, surface or flush mounting, the number of DIN rows and the modules per row; you can assign it to a zone and note the manufacturer and series. The capacity in modules is calculated straight away: for example, 3 rows of 12 modules give 36 modules.
Only DIN-mountable devices
The list of devices to place shows only the project devices marked as DIN-rail mountable in their properties. Drag a device onto a row, or tap it and then tap the row: Skemy places it in the first free space wide enough, from the left, without overlaps. To move a device that is already placed, take it out of the panel and place it again.
Schema and CAD, aligned
The schema shows device names row by row; next to it, the CAD view draws the panel in real proportions, with the rails, the modules and each device type’s drawing. The two columns line up and the view can be zoomed. Accessories are placed on the rows too.
A drawing to print
Print or export the panels to PDF with the same title block as the other project drawings.
In the same project
The devices in the panel are the project’s own devices, with their name, zone and type drawing: placing them in a panel does not create copies, just as in the rack.
